Called another hotel's cafe at the direct line and the phone rang, then got transferred to another line and rang, and then got transferred to another line and rang, and got transferred to another line.
Called a third hotel and got transferred to the cafe, which was not answered, and got transferred to a phone operator who transferred the line back to the cafe, which again was not answered.
Walked in to a nearby hotel's cafe and they were serving breakfast for their guests. Two staff were at the counter and treated us as transparent as they went on with their conversation. Asked about making a reservation for lunch and one lady took down my details. Given her my contact number and she wrote it wrongly as she was apparently not paying attention. I didn't bother to correct her.
