There was a bag left unattended outside the toilet.
The first thing that came to my mind was who could be so careless as to leave his or her belonging unattended in a public place.
There are a few security cameras.
With the recent few cases of people arrested for leaving their personal belongings unattended at train station and causing public alarm (train stations closed for investigation), this same incident could potentially cause another alarm.
Anyone who spotted it might have called the police.
I stood around to observe the surrounding for a minute to see if anyone came to claim the bag before deciding what to do next. A few people walked passed or came out from the toilet, but no one took the bag.
The bag looked like it belonged to a guy and I went into the toilet to see if there's anyone inside.
A cubicle was occupied and I knocked on it.
A voice of a teenage answered, "Yes?"
"Excuse me, did you leave your bag outside?" I asked.
He replied, "Yes."
I told him that he better not leave things unattended and asked if he would like me to pass it to him over the cubicle.
He said he is done soon.
It turned out the bag brand is Crumpler and costs above a hundred dollar.
Wasn't the kid afraid that someone might walk away with his expensive bag or he has absolute trust in human or the security system?
Perhaps it's unhygienic to bring bag into the toilet?
