The younger boy couldn't find his bus card to scan at the reading machine to pay for his ride.
The elderly man asked the boy, "Did you take it out of your pocket?"
The boy murmured something.
He asked, "Did you put it inside your pocket?" and began searching his pocket and the sling bag the boy was carrying.
By now, the bus has moved and they could not get off the bus to look for the card which might had dropped somewhere at the bus stop.
A few elderly people on board were trying to help by asking the boy to search his bag more thoroughly.
The man started to blame the kid for his carelessness, for taking out his card, for losing his card, for having to go back to the station to look for the card, for delaying the trip.
All attentions were on the boy and the man.
Luckily the bus will make an u-turn back to the station at the opposite side of the road.
They alighted and crossed over to look for his card.
How would you feel if you were the boy?
