There were quite a lot of ladies about 50 to 60 years old working at the stall.
Each has a designation role. One brings the plates, cutlery and sauces to customers. Two in charge of confirming orders after customers have ticked their choices on the order slip. A few are in charge of serving. The rest helps in preparing the food in the kitchen.
Business is usually good at this stall for the fact that it's open only two days on weekends, the varieties available and the affordable pricing. Many customers who came late often have to settle with what's leftover as many items were sold out.
The staff would take a breather whenever there's a chance.
I noticed that whenever the ladies were taking orders, they would give advice in the best interest of customers to ensure they do not over order. And they would also engage in small talks with those sitting near to the stall.
While standing around the stall taking a short break, a lady saw that my saucer with chilli sauce is finished. Without me asking, she took a bottle and refilled it in double quick time.
Ten minutes later, I was packing the leftover items that I could not finish in a container I brought and the same lady offered to give me a styrofoam box.
Though she was busy, it impressed me how observant and considerate she was.
