At the basement food level of a shopping center in the city in Singapore.
A Chinese couple with their hotel bedroom slippers.
Three Japanese ladies dressed in earth colored tones clothing.
A Korean couple with a four year old kid.
A Korean family of five, parents and three adult children, all walking on their own before gathering at a seating area by a fountain.
A Caucasian couple with a three year old kid.
Two Japanese man in suits and their luggage.
What do they have in common?
They were all walking round and round the place looking for food to eat.
You don't usually have many options for breakfast in a shopping mall at this hour. Even the supermarket is not open yet.
Staff at a few cafes and stalls were busy stocking up the deliveries on shelves and fridges, baking and wiping the tables and glasses before they open for business.
Subway, a Vietnamese noodle restaurant and two local brand cafes were already opened.
Either these three choices were not appealing to these people, they are undecided on what they want or they might have missed them.
All of them were walking round and round and round and round.
The family of five finally bought something to share when the supermarket opened.
The Caucasian family settled on a artisanal cafe when they finally saw the lights were turned on.
Interestingly, there is a Starbucks cafe and a McDonald next to it one level up near to the entrance to the train station which are impossible to miss if one has passed by previously.
What if they see a sign of Starbucks and McDonald logos at the basement?
