Nothing to do and no customer to serve.
What better way to pass time than that, apart from catching drama series on the mobile phone.
Two steps away, a piece of tissue sits quietly.
There's no way anyone could have missed seeing the patch of white against the dark tiled floor. In fact, everyone seems to be taking extra care not to step on it.
It's such an eyesore, isn't it?
Why can't the sales lady just pick it up and throw it into the dustbin? After all, the tissue is right in front of the store.
Is she worried that the cleaner has nothing to do if she helps clear the tissue? Is it because that is not her job?
Is it because the tissue is outside of the shop, out of her territory and not her responsibility? Something out of her job scope?
