Staff were grouped and they had to come out with new product ideas.
They were encouraged to be as creative, as innovative and as outrageous as possible.
The company even flew in the Vice President specially to be the judge.
There were some really crazy ideas by the staff which were entirely different from what the company produces.
In the end, the winning team was the one with the product closest to the existing product that the company is offering.
Did the Vice President choose it because its the safest product? Something that's familiar. Was she constraint by the company's capabilities? Or too afraid to take risk?
