He has to request for a day pass from the librarian every time.
One day, as usual, he went to the librarian and request for a day pass. The librarian recognized him as a familiar face and passed him a form to fill up.
This time round, he noticed a difference.
Instead of waiting for him to complete the form and handing it over together with his identification card, the librarian passed the form and the card to him directly.
After he completed the form and wanted to take his card from his wallet, the librarian said, "Don't need your IC. You are a regular."
Contrast it to the other staff who recognize him as a regular but still check his IC every time.
Are they afraid that if they do not check his IC every time, he will play punk one day?
