If not for their Express Login option, I really have no idea what's my User ID and password.
Once I'm in, I was searching for the link to send them an email.
There was a "Contact Us" link on the top right hand corner of the website. When I hover the cursor over the link, a drop down box appeared with a "Send us a message" link. Clicked on it but nothing happened.
Looked around and managed to find a link (see above photo).
I clicked on the picture. I clicked on the word "here" (Simply click here). No matter what I do, nothing worked.
Could it be my browser compatibility problem?
I switched from Firefox to Safari and the same problem persisted.
Finally, I gave up.
Website links not working, links where the pages have expired, expired promotion not removed, information not updated, poorly designed online feedback forms, information difficult to find, websites that's difficult to navigate. Not just small businesses, big corporations are also guilty of making such mistakes.
Online presence that gets neglected and emails not replied. Four weeks ago, I sent a message to a company's Facebook Page to make an inquiry. Till now, I'm still waiting for their reply. And the computer shop staff who told me she saw my email (when I was at her shop) but didn't bother to reply.
Did they jump on the bandwagon whenever a shiny object appears? And then forsake it as soon as they feel they are not getting the results they want?
Do you have a website because you are sold that you must have one in the internet age? Do you have a Facebook Page because all your competitors have one? Do you check your links to make sure they are working everyday? Do you have a channel for visitors to report any problems with your website? Do you make sure someone is taking care of your online presence? Do you check only when you are free?
The same applies to your Twitter, Pinterest, flickr, LinkedIn, and whatever account you have.
