The staff recommended a Japanese brand of screen protector which costs $30.
Being a regular customer, the staff offered her a special price of $25.
The shop owner complained that it's expensive and tried to further lower the price by "threatening" to check with the staff's lady boss, whom she seems to be on good term.
The staff finally lowered the price to $23.
While the staff was fixing the screen protector for her, she was looking through the mobile phone casings on display.
The staff recommended two designs and took them out to let her feel the grip.
Just then another lady regular customer came in to get a casing for her iPad mini.
The shop owner asked both the staff and the lady customer for their opinion on the casing.
The staff said he felt one has a better grip while the two ladies both thought the other one was better.
The staff said, "For guy, I prefer this design."
Soon a conversation started between the three of them about which has a better grip.
The shop owner was complaining to the lady customer about her son having butter fingers.
"There was once his phone just flew out of his hand while he was holding it and walking," she said while mimicking the action.
"I am so scared that I even bought extended warranty just in case," she continued.
I wondered if the new Samsung S8 Edge is for her son.
