He requested the staff to put all the buns separately in individual plastic bag so that it'll be easier for him to give them away.
The staff took a bun and put in a plastic and showed it to him.
She said, "The bun is quite small," probably hoping the guy would agree to putting all into one plastic bag.
The man repeated his request.
The lady answered, "Wait a minute."
She then went to take another stack of smaller plastic bag and put the four buns separately and put all of them into another plastic bag.
She said, "Three dollars and twenty cents," as she threw the bag of buns on the counter.
Was she angry that she has to do extra work putting the four buns separately? Was she angry that the customer is not being environmental friendly? Was she angry because she could not help her boss save on the costs of the three extra plastic bag?
What is the difference between four customers buying one bun each versus a customer buying four buns and requesting for them to be packed separately?
She could have just taken the initiative to feedback to her boss to get the smallest plastic bag which could fit the size of the bun nicely.
