All attendees were seated in round tables.
Inside the conference room, I saw a lady seated at the next table and thought she looked familiar. But I just couldn't recall where I had seen her before.
Halfway through the presentation, the lady walked out of the room.
She came back with a cup of tea.
That's nothing unusual except that there were three teabags in that tiny little teacup.
Now, the hotel served TWG tea.
It is an expensive brand.
Personally, I do not find TWG tea fantastic for the price they are charging. I thought their teas are pretty bland and tasteless.
That made me wonder if she felt the tea was too bland as I do and thus the need to use three teabags for the small teacup. Or did she has a preference for strong tasting tea? The third possibility is that it's an expensive brand of tea and it's free. So take all you can.
After the presentation, attendees were invited to the outside for a buffet lunch.
While queuing for the food, the lady cut into my queue and realized it's rather rude (she was already holding and eating from a plate of food).
She gestured for me to go before her and slipped behind me.
She then quickly poured the whole bowl of walnut onto her plate and left to join another queue as the one I'm in was too slow.
Minutes later, I saw her scrapping all the expensive fruits decorated on the mini cakes and desserts.
That's when I remember where I've seen her.
